As part of this enhanced focus on contamination control, we are excited to announce that Dr. Mark Koppel has recently joined our organization in an advisory capacity. Dr. Koppel will provide additional guidance regarding training, education, and heightened infection prevention techniques. Dr. Koppel has had vast experience in the healthcare sector and will help support and guide contamination prevention strategies for our staff and customers.
Dr. Koppel has more than 20 years of clinical and commercial experience in the healthcare industry. He has held several senior leadership roles, including being the former Chief Medical Officer at Pentax Medical, where he focused on strategies designed to reduce infection rates and cross contamination of medical devices.
Dr. Koppel began his career as an attorney specializing in health law before attending medical school and earning his medical degree. During the course of his commercial career, he has worked for such companies as GE, Wolters Kluwer Health, and Exact Sciences in a variety of roles including Vice President of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer.
